Review viable available properties, analyze wind or solar resource, interconnection proximity, environmental and construction factors, land economics. Obtain lease or purchase option.

3. POWER CONTRACT

Participate in renewable energy competitive solicitations; obtain power purchase contract.

4. ENGINEERING

Review utility transmission infrastructure and operations to design project interconnect. Prepare civil engineering and facility design.

5. ENVIRONMENTAL & PERMITTING

Consult with jurisdictional authorities. Systematically conduct environmental surveys as required.

6. EQUIPMENT SELECTION

Identify wind or solar and infrastructure equipment best suited to resource and project site.

7. FINANCE

Engage finance parties and arrange successful project financing for equity, tax equity, construction financing, and senior debt.

8. CONSTRUCTION

Engage engineering and construction contractors. Execute EPC Agreement. Construct facility and interconnection, perform testing, commence commercial operation.

9. OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE

Engage O&M service providers; sign O&M contract. Project operation.
